Dr. Chelsea Currie earned her B.Sc. and D.M.D from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Dentistry. As a general practitioner of family dentistry, she practices all areas of dentistry, with a focus on patient education, preventive, and conservative dentistry.
Chelsea’s interest in the profession began at an early age. Growing up, she was fascinated by the dental procedures she was exposed to during her routine visits to the clinic, and was one of those rare kids who actually looked forward to going to the dentist.
Throughout her career, she has endeavored to provide a similar, positive experience for her patients. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and is committed to ensuring their comfort. As a means of reducing stress, she offers sedation dentistry as an option to those patients who need help relaxing before appointments.
Chelsea is a tremendous advocate for her patients and enjoys empowering and educating them in preventive care. Her keen attention to detail and genuine concern for their overall well-being demonstrates an exceptional commitment - not only to her patients - but to the dental profession as a whole.
In her down time, Chelsea enjoys relaxing with her family, going to the lake, gardening, playing piano, and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. A life-long animal enthusiast, she’s had every kind of pet imaginable. Dogs, cats, birds, snakes, rats, hamsters, lizards, frogs, fish, and turtles… no creature is off limits for this compassionate animal devotee!
