Brittany graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at the University of Manitoba (DH, RDH) and is a volunteer in the MDHA/School of Dental Hygiene Mentorship Program. As a mentor, she helps guide the educational experience of dental hygiene students, providing encouragement and valuable exposure to real world clinical experience. Having always had positive experiences at her hygiene appointments, Brittany works to ensure her patients receive the same exceptional care. Drawn to the profession by a desire to positively impact not just her patients’ oral hygiene, but their quality of life and overall health, Brittany takes a holistic, systemic approach to dental hygiene. Friendly and outgoing, she excels at making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the chair. During every session, her goal is to inform patients about the connections between oral and general health as she guides them through their treatment plan. On weekends, Brittany usually spends time catching up on errands, doing yoga or working out at the gym. Although she’s always on top of the practical stuff like running errands and doing chores, she’s happiest relaxing, reading a good book or meeting up with friends for coffee.
